Terms and conditions of membership at Taling Chan Animal Hospital
Membership Application

  1. Initial membership fee: 500 baht
  2. Membership is valid for 1 year from the date of application.
  3. In the case where members are from the same family, the hospital reserves the right to apply for only one member per family.
  4. Members cannot use their rights on behalf of one another.
  5. Cannot be converted to cash

   Benefits

  1. Get a discount for bringing your pet for treatment, 10 % discount for medical expenses, surgery expenses, medicine expenses, bathing and grooming ( Excluding medical fees / food fees / on-site service fees / on-site service fees and blood bank fees  )

Qualities of dogs that can donate blood

  • Healthy and strong, aged between 1-6 years.
  • Weighs no less than 20 kilograms
  • Have a complete vaccination history
  • In the case of females, they must not be in heat, pregnant, lactating, or have had a miscarriage within 6 months before donating blood.
  • Not having blood-borne diseases such as blood parasites, heartworms, and contagious abortion.
  • Do not take any medications within 6 months prior to donation.
  • Never had surgery within the 6 months before donating blood.
  • Never received blood or blood products before
  • No serious chronic diseases. In case of having a chronic disease, please inform the staff before donating.
  • No ticks, fleas or skin diseases

Characteristics of cats that can donate blood

  • Healthy and strong, aged between 1-7 years.
  • Weighs no less than 4 kilograms.
  • Have a history of vaccination against important diseases regularly once a year.
  • Not a carrier of infectious diseases in cats, such as blood parasites in cats, leukemia, feline AIDS, infectious peritonitis, heartworms.
  • In the case of females, they must not be in heat, pregnant, lactating, or have had a miscarriage within 6 months before donating blood.
  • Do not take any medications within 6 months prior to donation.
  • Never had surgery within the 6 months before donating blood.
  • Never received blood or blood products before
  • No serious chronic diseases. In case of having a chronic disease, please inform the staff before donating.
  • No fleas or skin disease

For dogs and cats who apply to join the blood bank project Blood Bank Center

Before applying to the project, your dog or cat will undergo a health examination, blood count, blood parasite and heartworm test, liver and kidney function tests, all free of charge.

And if the test results of your dog or cat are complete and healthy, the blood test results will be normal, then the blood test will begin. Every blood test will be evaluated as appropriate.
And you will be able to apply for membership in the project and receive the following benefits:

  1. Dogs receive annual vaccinations (combination vaccine/rabies), heartworm prevention, and flea and tick vaccinations every 2 months free of charge.
  2. Cats receive annual vaccinations (distemper/cat flu/leukemia/rabies), heartworm and flea prevention drops every month free of charge.
  3. Dogs and cats undergo health screenings and blood counts before donating blood.
  4. Receive benefits when you join the project. You can use it as a discount on treatment fees at Taling Chan Animal Hospital.
    -Donate blood 1 time and receive a 10% discount on medical expenses, surgery expenses, and medicine expenses (excluding doctor's fees, food expenses, transportation expenses, on-site service fees, and blood bank expenses).
    -Donate blood 3 times or more, receive a discount of 15% (blood products only)
    -Get 5% discount for Pet shop
    -Membership contract period: 1 year
  5. The hospital provides a shuttle service to transport dogs and cats who wish to donate blood to their homes free of charge.
  6. Every time the hospital asks for blood donations, the hospital will contact you first.
  7. The hospital reserves the right to change the contract and benefits as appropriate.
