Periodontal disease Periodontal disease is an inflammation of the gums that can progress to infection of the bone that attaches the teeth and surrounding tissue. Periodontal disease is the most common cause of bad breath in dogs. It is mainly caused by food residue and tartar that builds up on the surfaces of the teeth. A study found that 70% of dogs 2 years and older were at risk of periodontal disease.
symptom
1. Have severe bad breath.
2. Teeth have yellow stains.
3. Swollen, red gums, receding gums
4. There is blood or pus mixed with saliva.

6. Commonly found in pets that are 2 years old or older and do not brush their teeth.
Treatment guidelines
1. History taking and physical examination, including preliminary oral examination.
2. Check the completeness of blood cells.
3. Scaling or tooth extraction may take approximately 30-45 minutes.
