VDO underwater treadmill

Physical therapy using an underwater treadmill or hydrotherapy

Walking on an underwater treadmill is a highly effective exercise and therapy that improves the function of the nervous system, muscles, and tendons of all four legs.

After bone and joint surgery, dogs need to recuperate, which means they don't have much use of their legs. Therefore, physical therapy is required to strengthen the muscles. Walking on an underwater treadmill reduces pain, as the water supports the dog's walking, making it more likely that the dog will put more weight on its legs.
