The Technion Institute of Technology in Israel has also conducted research and experiments on feeding goldfish using sound. It turned out that after 4-5 months, the goldfish could still remember the sound.
There is also research that says that if you feed your goldfish only on one side of the tank, they will remember that their owner usually feeds them on that side, and even remember when they were fed. This leads us to conclude that goldfish are actually very good at learning and have very good memories.
From many research studies, it is proven that goldfish do not have a short memory as humans like to say. Therefore, do not bully them! They will be sad. And if goldfish are cared for properly, they can live up to 20 years. Owners must let their fish live in a large aquarium, decorate it beautifully, and have the necessary equipment included so that they can swim and play happily. Now that you know this, do not slander goldfish any longer, saying that they have a short memory.
